Well i think that is probaply the curs of genius. that You are alone, no one can understand the depth you go to when you reach down inside youre self to play or to express. You can't take people with you to thouse places and some times you find things that are very scary. And i think you have to survive that on youre own and that is a very alone experiance and it is not something you choose it is not something that you whould nessesarily go after. It is something that you enharet with youre gift and he had it in aces, and it did make him very loneley and i don't think even with other musicians of his caliber and there werent many perhaps there werent any. I mean i tried to get close to him but there was always a kind of barrier you know, that wasent of his making im sure. It just that thats the way it is when you are that great. - Eric Clapton
